First-time activation

New to TapMedID? Start here.

  1. Go to MyTapMedID.com.
  2. Click on the First Time Activation button.
  3. Fill your personal information.
  4. Fill the ID and PIN printed on your TapMedID device.
  5. Click on Activate.
At this point, your account has been created and you are ready to fill in all your information. We recommend that you fill out as much information as possible — in an emergency, you never know what information may help save your life.

Set up a family

One account to manage your whole family’s profiles.

  1. Create your family account using the button below.
  2. Add each family member — you, your children, anyone you care for — with Add a person.
  3. Open each person’s profile and fill in their medical information.
  4. Link each person’s device: open their profile, go to My Devices → Add a new and enter the ID and PIN printed on that device.
  5. You manage everyone from one login and can switch between profiles anytime.
Each device links to one person — give every family member their own device and profile.

Edit your existing profile

Add or update your information anytime.

  1. Sign in with the email and password you used to create your account.
  2. Use the menu on the left to open any section — conditions, medications, allergies, contacts and more.
  3. Add or edit your information. Changes save instantly and update everywhere.

Add a new device to your account

Card, wristband, luggage tag — link as many as you like.

  1. Sign in to your account.
  2. Go to My Devices → Add a new.
  3. Enter the ID and PIN printed on the new device. It now points to the same profile.
In-app help

Every screen has a “Full Guide” button

Once you are signed in, look for the blue Full Guide button at the top of every screen. It opens a clear, step-by-step explanation of everything you can do there — what each field means and how to use it. You are never on your own.
